What paint products does your team use?
We use Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Romabio and KEIM, plus Cabot and Minwax stains for wood.
How often should I paint the outside of my home?
We recommend repainting a home's exterior every five to seven years.
What services does State 28 Painting Company offer?
Interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting and refinishing, masonry, deck and fence work, power washing, gutter cleaning, prep work and commercial painting.
Does your work come with a warranty?
Yes. Every painting job comes with our standard 3-year warranty on labor and materials. Extended 5- and 7-year warranties are available. Deck staining and painting carry a 1-year warranty. Power washing on its own isn't covered by a warranty.
When is the best time for an exterior painting project?
We recommend scheduling exterior painting between March and November.
How do you finalize colors?
State 28 has an in-house color consultant who knows current palettes and helps you narrow down choices before work starts.
Is it a good idea to paint kitchen cabinets?
Yes, in most kitchens. Painting updates dated cabinets for much less than replacing them.
How do you prepare for an exterior project?
We pressure wash the house first to remove dirt and debris, then scrape, caulk and prime where needed.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing through Hearth, and checking your options does not affect your credit score.
Are you an insured contractor?
Yes. We carry liability insurance up to $1 million, and our crews are bonded and insured.
